Bill earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Nichols College and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1996. Consistent with his interests in audit, internal controls and fraud prevention, he has since focused on those areas and became a Certified Fraud Examiner in 2010.
Bill’s career began with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Massachusetts, serving audit clients in the manufacturing, non-profit and financial services industries. He has also worked in regional accounting firms, focusing on small business audit, financial consulting and internal controls. Outside of public accounting, Bill has held management positions at two Fortune 500 companies in the insurance and health industries, where he led accounting and audit teams in a wide variety of financial, operational and anti-fraud related efforts. Throughout this time, Bill remained engaged in public accounting on a consulting basis with Dubrey, Culliton & Fanning.
In 2017, Bill joined Dubrey, Culliton & Steglitz to focus on servicing our small business accounting and audit clients.
Bill resides in Thompson, Connecticut with his wife and children and devotes much of his time to local baseball, serving on the Thompson Little League Board of Directors as treasurer and as a long-time coach. He also serves on the Tourtellotte Memorial High School Alumni Association Board of Directors, supporting their efforts to bring the career perspectives of alumni to current students.
